Golden State Warriors vs. Boston Celtics Game 2 Prediction

The Boston Celtics and the Golden State Warriors will battle it out for game two of this seven-game series. We split our bets in game one but have had a huge postseason to this point. I found a gem of a pick for us tonight that will improve our postseason.

The Warriors held a double-digit lead multiple times late in the third and early in the fourth quarter. The game looked like it was over, and the Warriors moneyline got as high as -3000 live. Then the Celtics did what they have done so many times this season. They came back. This is a team that has zero quit in them, and they love the big moment. The Celtics did not miss a three for the first six-plus minutes of the fourth, and they were getting consistent stops.

I did take Boston to win the series, but I thought we would see a split in the Bay Area. The Warriors understand how this game could be a do-or-die type of game. The Warriors do not want to go back to Boston down 2-0 for obvious reasons.

This season, the Celtics have been an outstanding road team, and the Warriors have been an outstanding home team. This series should go down as one of the better series we have seen in the past few seasons, and lord knows that we need a good series after these playoffs! The Warriors enter tonight as a four-point favorite. 

I am taking the Warriors on the spread tonight. I understand this bet could scare off some people after that game one collapse, but the Warriors are not going down 2-0 at home. They are one of the best teams in the NBA off a loss, especially a playoff loss.

I expect the Warriors to adjust tonight and force the Celtics to beat them in the paint. I do not think the Celtics can shoot at the same percentage from three as they did in the fourth quarter. The Warriors should look to take away the three-point line, something they are typically really good at. Steph and Klay should be better down the stretch as they both struggled in game one. The Warriors should bounce back for us tonight! Let’s stay hot on the hardwood.
