The NBA draft returns on Thursday night, which means we have to gamble on it. The NBA draft can be an extremely profitable market as we have made out well the last couple of seasons. This year there appears to be a clear-cut top three, but what order will they go?

As of last night, Jabari Smith, the talented young wing out of Auburn, was -800 to be drafted number one by the Orlando Magic. The bet actually got as high as -1000. When we woke up this morning, the odds for Smith dropped to odds-off at +135. The new favorite to be number one is former Duke standout, Paolo Banchero. Banchero, who was the number one player coming out of high school, appeared to be the number three pick in the draft. The line movement is wild, and now we wait and see. The guy who is expected to be sandwiched in between the two is the pride of Gonzaga, Chet Holmgren. If you have not seen this guy ball, you should.

Error fetching data.

Holmgren has drawn a lot of comparisons body-wise to Kevin Durant when he came out of high school. He is lanky and long but do not let that fool you. Scouts could not be more excited about the potential for Chet.

The man who is slated to go number four is one of my favorite players in the draft Jaden Ivey. Ivey, who is a former standout at Purdue, has a lot of potential entering the league. He was one of the most dynamic guards in the country last season and should only get better.

The play we are going with in this article is going to be Chet Holmgren to go number two. In the draft, you will see fairly juicy lines, especially at this point, but I still find value here. The number one pick is a bit of a mystery but sandwiched in between seems like a no-brainer in Chet. I believe OKC is all in on Chet, and they will just let him fall to them no matter who goes number one. I believe this is an easy winner to cash in on the draft night!
