The NBA Draft will take place on Thursday night as sixty young men will see their dreams come true. Teams across the league will have the chance to draft their next star. There will be a player that is taken tonight that we call the steal of the draft for the next decade. There will be a player that gets drafted tonight that we call the bust of the draft. It is an exciting time as is, but what makes it even better is the fact we can make money on it!
I found a prop I love for us tonight, and it will be centered around former Ohio State standout EJ Liddell. Liddell is a friend of ours because he made us a lot of money during his tenure at Ohio State. He was one of the best big men in the nation leading his team to March Madness every season. He was a part of the team.

Scouts worry about his speed translating to the NBA, but he is still expected to be a late first-round pick. He is also undersized for the position he played in college as a power forward. Liddell stands just 6'7" but used his thick build to be one of the most feared big men in college basketball. He did improve his three-point shooting, which is a key at the next level due to his size. The pick we are going with is going to be Liddell over pick 20.5. I believe teams will be hesitant to take EJ in the top twenty because of the speed and size. It is rare that you will see a guy with his frame go in the top twenty for the position that he plays. I believe he can pan out a solid career as a role player, but teams will not be jumping out of their seats for a guy like Liddell. I think we cash this bet in with ease tonight.Â
