2022 NBA Most Improved Player Prediction
We all got to know the name well last year, and Tyrese Maxey only increased the expectations this preseason with stellar performances. Maxey averaged 20 points per game while only playing 18 minutes per game – so the hype looks real.
The most improved player can be the trickiest of awards to predict, as many people last year felt that Jordan Poole deserved to win the award over Ja Morant. But Maxey was already one of the league’s most improved players last year, as he went from averaging 8.0 ppg to 17.5 ppg after seeing his minutes jump from 15.2 per game as a rookie to 35.3 per game last season.
Maxey has a knack for explosive plays and shooting that provides his team a boost, so I’m taking a slight flyer here on the 76ers budding star to win the award this year.
2022 NBA Most Improved Player Pick
Tyrese Maxey +1100 (Bet $100 to collect $1100)
