The Clippers also made a move to add John Wall to their roster. Wall has really struggled to stay healthy, but when healthy, Wall was one of the most dominant guards in the game. It will be fun to watch him back on the court tonight. The Lakers opened their season with a loss, and it was not pretty. The Lakers stayed close to the Warriors until halftime, but they turned in an awful effort in the second half. Offensively the Lakers really struggled to put up points, and the shooting looked just as bad as it was a season ago. The Lakers will look to rebound tonight with a much better showing against this high-powered Clippers team.
I am looking at a team total here. I will be taking the Los Angeles Clippers team total under 115.5. In the first game of the season, I am expecting some rust here from the Clippers. It should take them some time to get their chemistry going, and this is an extremely high team total on opening night. I believe the Lakers' defense is much better than they showed us against the Warriors and that they will compete on the defensive end tonight.
