Golden State Warriors vs. Phoenix Suns Prediction

The Golden State Warriors vs. the Phoenix Suns. The two teams will meet up for a much-anticipated matchup tonight. The Warriors have been the class of the NBA over the last decade, and they added yet another trophy to the case last season. Golden State will have its eyes on yet another championship this year, and they have the roster to run it back. The trio of Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green is one of the best of all time. These are three hall-of-fame players that have enjoyed as much success as they can in their NBA careers. The scary thing with this Golden State team is the talent that they have surrounded these three guys with. Jordan Poole looks like he is one of the best young shooters in the game, and he was a huge part of the team's success a season ago.

The Warriors also have two young players, James Weismann and Johnathan Kuminga. These are two guys that the Warriors took in the lottery, and they will look to make an impact on the team this season. Phoenix is coming off a disappointing season. Phoenix was beaten by the Bucks in the NBA finals back in 2020, and they turned in a great regular season last year. They were not able to get past the Mavericks, however, in the second round of the NBA Playoffs, to the surprise of many. Phoenix should have a chip on their shoulder after a tough ending to last season. The Suns' time may be ticking as Chris Paul gets older and some of these young studs that the Suns have contracts start to end. This is a big season for Phoenix, for sure.

However, I have a great NBA pick for this one. I am all over the Suns tonight.

I believe that Phoenix is going to be a great team to back down during the regular season. There are certain teams that I feel just put in more effort during the regular season, and the Suns are one of those teams. This game tonight is much more meaningful to Phoneix than it is to Golden State. The Warriors are a veteran team for the most part, and early in the year, I do not expect them to play a lot of these games with max effort. I also believe that some of these guys will be on a minutes restriction as they ease into the season. Lastly, this will be the first road game of the season for Golden State and should be a good spot at home for the Suns to take care of business.
