Rockets vs. Clippers Prediction

Jalen Green 25+ Points (+194) (Bet $100 to collect $294) Click here for the best odds, available at FanDuel

We're at FanDuel for this one since DraftKings has yet to post their alt lines. I highly doubt we're getting +194 for 25+ when they do, so we might as well just play this now. It should be noted that his standard line is 20.5 (-122) at FanDuel, so if you wanted, you could wait for 21.5, 22.5, and 23.5 to come out in the alts. You may get something you like with a little less risk. In my opinion, 25+ at +194 is enough bang for our buck, so I'm going there. I think this kid is either going 25+ or for 14.

The haters are going to say that Jalen Green hasn't scored more than 17 points in any of his last four games. They may even call us stupid for doing this. Pay them no mind people. There is an easy explanation for all this. Our guy Jalen is a home guy. He likes the home rims. He also likes sleeping in his own bed. Think about it. The kid is a millionaire. You know he has a sweet ass bed. You would too. You aren't even a millionaire and probably have a sweet ass bed. Sweet ass beds are easy to come by, and they're important.

The reason I think this kid likes sleeping in his own bed and shooting on his own rims is because of his home/road splits. He's only played two games at home after a comfortable night's sleep this season and went 25+ in both. On the road, he has yet to go over 22. I rest my case. The thing is, the kid is still taking a healthy amount of shots. We're talking at least 17 in each of his last four games. He just has to start making them.

Tonight the Rockets will host the Los Angeles Clippers, who they just played last game. They legit only shot 38% and only lost that game by two points. It wasn't this magic defense, either. The Rockets just missed wide-open shot after wide-open shot. I think once Houston sees their own rims, balls will start going in. We've already seen Lonnie Walker drop 26, De'Aaron Fox go for 36, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander hit 33 when this Clippers team visited them. I think Green is good for 25+ tonight. Especially at this price.
