Sacramento Kings vs Miami Heat Prediction
To be fair, Mitchell is currently available at 4.5 assists at DraftKings at -165, but it feels criminal to drink that kind of juice, so we’ll move to FanDuel to take the next number up. If you’re a juice lover, then don’t let me stop you from grabbing the line on DK.
Davion Mitchell made a statement the other night for the Sacramento Kings' last game, scoring 23 points against the Charlotte Hornets once De’Aaron Fox left the game. When you look back at the end of last season when Mitchell was starting at point guard, his assist numbers are very impressive. This was while Fox was out of the lineup, so we don’t have to look too far back for a sample size to view.
Mitchell has gone over 5.5 assists in 10 of his last 10 games without Fox. In fact, Mitchell hasn’t finished any of those games with less than seven assists, so I like this number without any juice. The Miami Heat just let Steph Curry rack up 23 points, 13 rebounds, and 13 assists the other night, and while Mitchell is no Steph, he has proven he can hit this number repeatedly whenever Fox is out of the lineup.
In two of his last three games without Fox in the lineup, he has had games of 15 and 17 assists.
