NBA Player Prop Picks for Thursday: Wendell Carter and Franz Wagner

The NBA's Thursday slate is a small one with only two games. Jason shares his player prop picks for them.

NBA Player Prop Picks for Thursday: Wendell Carter and Franz Wagner

Although there are two games on tonight's NBA slate, I still found some player prop value. Thankfully, the Houston Rockets and Philadelphia 76ers aren't playing tonight. We don't need Houston and Philadelphia in a third sport tonight!

Anyway, here are the suggested player prop picks below. Consider taking them for Thursday's NBA slate.

Best NBA Player Props for Thursday, November 3

Wendell Carter Under 1.5 Threes (-210) (Bet $100 to collect $147)

Wendell Carter has averaged 16.1 points per game. He's a consistent scorer in the league.

However, this season, he's only hit two threes or more in two games. The Magic have now played eight games.

On Tuesday, Carter is coming off a 2-for-2 performance from three for the Magic. But he's averaging under one three made per game. In October, he went .7-for-3.4 from downtown, shooting just 20.8% from deep.

Take his under.

Franz Wagner Under 1.5 Threes -120. Bet $100 to collect $183.

Like Carter, Wagner is a high-volume scorer. He's averaging 15.8 points per game but has an even worse percentage than Carter from downtown.

In October, Wagner went .9-4.4, shooting just 19.4% from deep. To start November, Wagner hit just one of five from downtown. Essentially, he would need ten attempts to make two three-pointers.

I'll grab his under prop at -120.

Franz Wagner Over 3.5 Assists -182. Bet $100 to collect $154

Wagner might not be a great three-point shooter, but he's good at getting his teammates involved in the offense.

He's averaging 4.4 assists per game and is coming off a game where he had seven assists against the Oklahoma City Thunder. He's hit four assists in every game but two this year and has four games with at least five.

The Warriors are 29th in assists allowed this season. Expect Wagner to get some assists in tonight's ball game.
