The Nuggets come into this game representing a record of 4-3 in the young season. Denver comes into this season with reasonable expectations. This is a team that is built around Nikola Jokic, who is the two-time reigning MVP. Jokic has been outstanding the last two years, and he will look to turn in another strong campaign.

Denver will finally start a season fully healthy. Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. return to the court, which will be a massive spark for this Nuggets team. The addition of these two stars should take some pressure off of Jokic moving forward.

The Thunder entered the year with little to no expectations. The Thunder have hit a wall the last couple of years as the team is now in rebuild mode. Prior to blowing up the team, Oklahoma City made the playoffs nine of ten years from 2009-2019. This is a franchise that has had some great players leave including Kevin Durant, James Harden, and Russell Westbrook.
