We're at FanDuel for this one since I don't even know if the market exists for other books. If you have to play at DraftKings, their standard line is Oklahoma City 111.5 (-110). That's not a bad number but I'd rather just go to FanDuel and add a point to get +108. Every penny counts in this economy people. I'm not telling you anything you don't already know though. You've been to the grocery store recently.
Here's the thing about this Oklahoma City Thunder team. I don't even know if they're good yet. Obviously, nobody thought they were going to be 4-3 at this point in the season but here we are. I for sure thought they would be tanking but maybe that starts later. I have never really understood the tanking game anyway. All I do understand is scoring buckets and this team is doing that right now. We're talking 117 per game over their last three which is fifth in the NBA over that span.
Is this team efficient on the offensive side? No. Not at all. In fact, they're 24th in the NBA in offensive efficiency so far this season. Even in their last three-game run, they're 13th in the association. The thing is, they play pretty fast which leads to more possessions which lead to more chances at points. Over their last three games, only three teams have seen more possessions per game. They just fly up and down the floor which is what we over people want to see. I love it.
Tonight they get the Denver Nuggets who we've already seen give up 117 points to this Thunder team. That was in Denver though where the Nuggets kind of play defense. On the road, it's a different story. In fact, no team in the NBA is worse in terms of defensive efficiency on the road than Denver. We've seen them play four games away from the Ball Arena this season and they've given up at least 121 points in all of them. We just need 113 tonight out of the Thunder and honestly, I think they'll get it easily.
