Sacramento Kings vs. Cleveland Cavaliers Prediction
0.7u – Darius Garland to record a Double-Double (+145) (Bet $100 to Collect $245) Click here for the best odds, available at DraftKings
Playing this on DraftKings with the best odds I could find at +145. Cleveland Cavs point guard Darius Garland has been playing well when healthy, and the addition of Donovan Mitchell via trade in the offseason boosted an already promising young core that includes Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen, among others.
While Garland has only played in four games this season, he only has three full games under his belt, as he registered 13.3 minutes in his season opener before suffering an eye injury that caused him to miss time. Since returning, he’s played 37 minutes or more in each of the three games, so there are no concerns here on minutes.
Garland has had 12 assists in two of his last three games and is sixth in the league in potential assists averaged per game if you were to include the season opener, where he played just north of 13 minutes. If we only include the three full games in which Garland has played, he is second in the league in potential assists averaged per game (18.3), only trailing guard Tyrese Haliburton of the Indiana Pacers (19.3).
This game has the fourth-highest projected point total of the night, so we should have plenty of opportunities for Garland to get the double-double.
