The Toronto Raptors will be without guard Fred VanVleet and forward Pascal Siakam tonight against the Detroit Pistons, meaning other players will need to step up.

One player who has done that very well is Scottie Barnes, and his stats without Fred VanVleet this season are telling. In nine games with FVV in the lineup, Barnes is averaging 13.8 points per game, 6.1 rebounds per game, and 4.0 assists per game. In four games without FVV in the lineup, Barnes is averaging 13.8 ppg, 7.8 rpg, and 7.0 apg. As you can see, his usage has increased as he has started at point guard for the Raptors in FVV's absence.

The Pistons rank in the middle of the pack in assists to opposing point guards, and Barnes already has one triple-double this year without VanVleet in the lineup (against Dallas). This is worth the flier to me, so I’m staying light and having some fun with this one. This same prop is +680 on FanDuel, so we're almost getting double the value here. Sign me up.
