Jalen Brunson 35+ Points (+950) Bet $100 to collect $1,050 FanDuel has the best odds, click here to bet
We're at FanDuel for this one since they have ladder moves. The standard line for this guy is 23.5 (-102) at FanDuel which may be more palatable for the risk-averse. I don't know what that would even feel like because I'm trying to get to the moon. I already know that -102 lines will never get me there. It should be noted, that if you only want to do Brunson's standard line, DraftKings is offering 22.5 (-125) which is the best I've seen. It should also be noted that I only looked at two books (DraftKings & FanDuel).
Detroit Pistons vs. New York Knicks Prediction
Here's what I do every single day that makes me happy. I like to find a bet that really has no chance of winning, and then convince myself that it does. It's not easy and it honestly takes a special person to be able to pull it off on a daily basis. For starters, the bet has to be so ridiculous that the books are forced to hang long odds. We're talking +950-type stuff here. But at the same time, it has to be slightly in the realm of possibilities that we're able to talk ourselves into betting it. This is very intricate work here people.
With all that being said, today's YOLO move was so easy because everything about it is perfect. You need things to be perfect with these things and they are. For starters, Brunson is on what I like to call a "heater". The man cannot be stopped. People have tried but they just can't seem to do it. Brunson has actually noticed this himself as he's taken at least 20 shots in each of his last four games. The man has scored at least 27 points in all of those games and gone 30+ in each of the last three. Heater baby!
Now the haters are going to say that Brunson has never scored 35 points in an NBA game before and that's true. What they won't tell you is the fact he's gone for 34 twice. Including just the other night against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Tonight Jalen will get a crack at the Detroit Pistons who give up more points to opposing point guards than any team in the NBA this season. These guys just gave up 32 to Donovan Mitchell the other night. De'Aaron Fox broke them off for 33 recently. Before that, Jayson Tatum hung 43 on them (I know he's not a point guard but he brings the ball up sometimes and I needed more data for my argument). This feels like the perfect setup for Jalen Brunson's career-high in points.
