Simons has only made 5+ threes in five out of eighteen games. This hit rate for four threes or below is 72%. He faces the Clippers who 12th fewest 3PM to PGs so it’s not even a great matchup for him.

The Clippers rank bottom 10 in pace and have only allowed five players all year to make 5+ threes against them. Only one was a point guard, Jordan Clarkson. If the Clipper can limit Luka and Curry to under 5 threes then I don’t see why we are led to think Simons will do it. Without Dame we see that Simons is still under in five out of seven games on the year.
