Atlanta Hawks vs Denver Nuggets Prediction

We revisited this bet and are 1-0 on this one this year. Nuggets have won the race to 15 in 16/21 games. Jamal Murray is probable, so I’m not too worried about him missing this one, and MPJ remains out. Even with MPJ out, I like this one as Jokic will be dominant from this jump in this one and Capela shouldn’t be able to stop him.

Although these teams are slightly different than last season (Atalanta adding Dejuonte and Denver adding KCP), we did see Denver go 2-0 in first to 15’s against Atlanta last year. Denver just always knows how to start off games and Atlanta has games they start slow. The Hawks have only won their race to 15 in 5 of their last 12 games.

Denver has had a great hit rate on the season and we’re paying minimal juice. This was my biggest money maker last year and until it proves me wrong, I will continue to bet on it. Denver is worse on the road and Atlanta is better at home, but I’m trusting the numbers here and Denver starts off games too well to ignore.
