Okay, this juice is massive but hear me out. This prop should probably be -200 or higher so there’s value here. The Pistons have allowed seven straight starting centers to get at least one block against them, and allow the third most blocked to centers, only trailing Houston and Charlotte. Players like Kelly Olynyk and Dwight Powell have gotten the job done so Bam should too.
Bam is averaging 0.8 blocks per game and has one in five of his last eight games. He hasn’t had back-to-back games without a block in over a month, and he failed to get one last game. Although he didn’t get a block against Detroit last year, I find that hard to remain the trend as Stewart is an undersized big, and Detroit now has Ivey who drives to the hole a lot and gets blocked quite often.
This is a bet that could cash on the first play of the game or the last, what’s more fun than that? Detroit takes many contested shots and Adebayo is capable of making them pay. I know the juice is a lot but I’m trusting my gut here and I think it’s the best bet available on a small three-game slate. Let's roll!
