The last time we bet on Paolo, it was a heartbreaker, we needed 21 points, and he went to the free throw line with 19. He made the first free throw but sadly missed the second. It was a feeling I wouldn’t wish upon my worst enemy. Tonight we seek vengeance on our second time betting on Mr. Banchero.

On paper, the Clippers aren’t a team you want to bet overs against. They don’t play too fast, and the games are typically low scoring. That said, they struggle against the PF position, and Paolo is due for some positive regression. The Clippers allow the 9th most points to PFs in the NBA and have allowed the 7th most points in the paint over their last 3 games.

Paolo shot 4-16 last game versus the Bucks and STILL scored 20. We have a guy with the upside of shooting 25% and still hitting the over. Paolo has hit this in 13/18 games, including 4 of his last 5. With Wall, Powell, Morris, and Kennard all out, I kind of like Orlando to keep this one competitive and have Paolo have the minutes needed to hit this number. Kawhi and PG are great defenders who will both have their crack at Paolo on the perimeter, but the same could be said about Giannis and the Bucks, who he hit against. Let's roll!
