Every book has this at 30.5, which is fine but I like drinking the juice here for the flat 30. Giannis has scored exactly 30 in 8 of his last 52 games dating back to last year, so that’s why we’re going with the alternate line. Tonight Giannis has the potential to smash this number if the game stays close as he plays the poorly defending Sacramento Kings.
Giannis has 30+ points in 7 straight games, and Sacramento doesn’t have a single player who can bang with him down low. The Kings allow the 6th most points in the paint in the NBA, and Giannis is arguably the most dominant talent when down low. Giannis played a very similar Kings team last year and dropped 36 points.
Although the spread is concerning at -6.5, it’s good to see that almost 90% of the money is on the Bucks, which is usually a sign that the Kings should cover, and we will see a close game here.
