Indiana Pacers vs Brooklyn Nets Prediction, Pick, Odds: Can Indiana Beat Brooklyn Without Kevin Durant?

We usually stick to player props but I really do dig this one. As a non spread bettor typically, I told myself I would never do full-game spreads due to too much wonky stuff happening at end of games that causes bad beats but I like this first-half spread. Let's get into why I’m choosing this pick over some player props today.

Indiana Pacers vs Brooklyn Nets Prediction

1u - Indiana Pacers -3.5 1st Half Spread (-115 @ MGM) (Bet $115 to collect $225)

Indiana faces a Brooklyn team who will be without Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, Nicolas Claxton, and Ben Simmons. Brooklyn will be putting out a lineup of Sumner, Curry, Harris, O’Neale, and Sharpe more than likely.

That lineup isn’t great and will make the bench unit even worse as the 3rd stringers will be tasked with backup duties tonight. Indiana is mostly healthy and playing at home where they are 8-4.

Asking to lead by 4 at half isn’t much here. Indiana is healthier, at home and Brooklyn is on the 2nd leg of a back-to-back. All signs point to the Pacers blowing them out but I went with the 1st half approach because how many times have we seen the public hammer against a depleted Nets team and they have a “too little too late” rally at the end for the cover but to still lose outright? I like this one and it should be fun to root for, let's roll!
