Los Angeles Clippers vs. Boston Celtics Prediction
The Celtics have been the best team in the NBA to this point in the season. The Celtics have been outstanding on both basketball sides, led by Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. Boston won the Eastern Conference a season ago, but they fell short when they lost to the Golden State Warriors in the finals. This is a roaster that fully expects to be back in a position to win a championship again this year.
The Clippers entered the season seen as one of the favorites to win the West. This is likely the deepest roster in basketball, but the issue for the Clippers has been health. Kawhi Leonard and Paul George have not played on many courts together, and a lot of other key pieces have been in and out of the lineup for the Clippers.
Despite the injuries, the Clippers enter this game a couple of games above the .500 mark at 15-13. This could be a key win in their season tonight if they can knock off the high-powered Celtics. Boston enters tonight as a four-and-a-half-point favorite.
I am going to back the Clippers with the points tonight. I am surprised that we can get such a cushion on LA, but I will gladly take the points here. A lot of people fear fading Boston, and I understand, but this is a tough spot for the Celtics to come in on the road and dominate this game over the Clippers. At the moment it appears Kawhi and George will both be in for tonight’s contest. I will trust the home team to take care of business here.
