Some of you may not have this market and I actually don’t mind his complete game prop of o17.5 points either but I still do prefer the first quarter prop listed. Devin Booker is out for Phoenix tonight and we saw a very aggressive Mikal Bridges shoot a team-high 23 times last game without Book. Bridges had 27 points and 12 of them came in the first quarter.
Devin Booker is known to almost always play all 12 minutes of the first quarter so with him sidelined we saw Phoenix elect to play Bridges 10 minutes in the first which is a slight improvement from his usual nine and he took EIGHT field goals. With the type of long-range shooter that he is, this could cash with two field goals with a three and a mid-range shot or dunk.
Bridges has already faced Houston twice this year, in the most recent game he had 11 first-quarter points. In the other game, it was all Devin Booker as Bridges only attempted two field goals, that will not be the case tonight. Houston will have their hands full with Ayton and I expect a big game from him but Bridges will get his fair share of looks. He has shown progress in his game this year as a scorer and this is a great opportunity to showcase himself. Let's roll!
