Chicago Bulls vs New York Knicks Prediction

The Knicks come into this game playing to the tune of a 14-13 overall record, which is good for seventh best in the Eastern Conference. The Knicks are coming off a poor season, and they were aggressive in the off-season, trying to quickly improve their roster. They turned their attention to former Villanova standout Jalen Brunson, and Brunson inked a long-term deal with New York.

Brunson has been very good in his role to start the season, and the re-emergence of Julis Randle has been a welcomed sight for the Knicks this year. Randle really struggled a season ago, and a lot of Knicks fans wanted him off the team. He has silenced the critics with his play thru the first couple of months as he comes into this game averaging a team-high 22.3 points per game while also leading the Knicks in rebounds with an average of 8.7 rebounds per game.

Chicago has really struggled to start their season. They are coming off their best regular season since 2014, but things have not gone their way to this point this year. Chicago enters playing to the tune of an 11-15 record, and they will need to turn things around sooner than later. This is a highly talented roster, and Chicago remains confident that they will turn things around. The Bulls enter tonight as a four-point home favorite.

I am all over the home team here tonight. Chicago has certainly struggled this year, but they are still the much better team in my eyes. I think that this line being -4, despite their poor play, makes this a Bulls line all the way. Chicago will have a lot of matchup advantages tonight across the board, and if they can take advantage of these matchups, they should be able to pull away. Let’s stay hot on the hardwood and cash in tonight!
