Clippers vs Suns Prediction
The Phoenix Suns vs. the Los Angeles Clippers will clash from Los Angeles for a western conference affair on Thursday night. The Suns come into this game ice-cold as of late. The Suns have been losers of five in a row and six of their last seven. Despite the cold run as of late, Phoenix remains one of the best teams in the West, supporting a record of 16-12 on the year.
Phoenix had a disappointing end to their year a season ago when they were upset by the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference semi-finals. The year prior, Phoenix went to the NBA finals, the surprise of many. Entering this season, they were seen as one of the favorites to come out of the Western Conference, and for a good reason. This is a loaded roster that when healthy, is one of the deeper teams in the NBA.
The issue for the Suns has been their health. They are without some key bench pieces at the moment and they have been without star guard Devin Booker the last few games. Prior to the Booker injury, the Suns went through a spell without Chris Paul, who has since returned to action. The Clippers are satisfied with where they are right now. Los Angeles has had issues getting their full team on the court together, but when they are on the floor together, they appear to be a championship contender. Los Angeles will be without Kawhi Leonard and Paul George tonight.

I can not pass up this spot on the Suns. Yes, Phoenix is cold at the moment, but they remain one of the best teams in basketball, in my eyes. They will turn things around sooner than later, and I think that tonight is a great get-me-right spot for them. Los Angeles will be without multiple star players, and even if Booker does not play here, the Suns are the right side in my eyes.
