Although SGA has an original line of 30.5, we are going with the alt line here for half a point less. We have seen SGA finish with exactly 30 points twice in his last 11 games. He has 30+ points in 18/26 games which is good for 69.2% of his games. He is also 2/2 against this Minnesota team this year, with games of 33 and 32 in each contest.
Minnesota looks to possibly be without Rudy Gobert in this one which would be a huge blow to the paint defense where SGA is great at finishing around the rim. D Lo looks to also possibly be out and although he isn’t a great defender, him being out likely means a closer game where Oklahoma City can stick around in this one and SGA can see his usual court time.
Minnesota allows the most points to point guards as it is and if Gobert sits, then I like this one even more. This bet has everything going for it. The only reason I’m not playing for more than a unit here is that I expect this to be the most popular play of the day and a lot of the time when that happens, we see something weird happen. However, it’s too good to ignore considering the hit rate, injury report, and the best possible matchup. Let's roll!
