The Charlotte Hornets and the Sacramento Kings will clash from Sacramento on Monday night. Things have gone very poorly to this point in the year for the Hornets, who come into play tonight with one of the worst records in the NBA. The Hornets are just 7-23 on the year, which is good for the second-worst record in basketball. Injuries have certainly played a role in this poor record, including the long absence of star guard Lamelo Ball. Ball has been back in the lineup and is expected to be good to go tonight.
The Hornets made a surprising move in the off-season bringing in new head coach Steve Clifford. Clifford is an experienced coach, but the Hornets appeared to be in a good spot going into the off-season. This young team seemed to be making progress, but they have taken a significant step back this year.

Sacramento also made a coaching change handing the keys to Mike Brown. Brown has done a good job so far as the head man leading his Kings to a 16-12 overall record.
