Markelle Fultz is such an interesting guy not only to bet on but as a player in general. He will have games he legitimately looks incredible and then games where he seems like a role player. I think there will come a time he is consistent and is a steady producer in the NBA. The last game was a great sign and there was a lot to like. His volume was outstanding as he took 19 field goals and scored 24 points.
Fultz gets the best possible matchup there is tonight. Houston allows the most points to point guards in the NBA. Franz Wagner is the only Magic player to not miss a game this season but he may miss tonight’s contest with an ankle injury. If that’s the case I like this bet even more because Wagner shoots the ball nearly 15 times a game. Fultz has 14+ in four of his last eight games but the matchup and how comfortable he looked last game put this in the playable category.
This game projects to be very close as it’s nearly a pickem. This one shouldn’t be a blowout in any capacity and it even has an overtime upside for miracle cash. If Fultz shoots nearly 20 times again, and Wagner sits against a defense allowing the most points to point guards, then I don’t know how he could fail to score 14 puny points. Let's just not overthink this one and let's roll!
