We’re drinking some heavy juice here, but this is a bet I feel really good about. Both Zion and Ingram are out, and McCollum is 4/4 on hitting this prop when both of them are out. He will be viewed as the most capable scorer, so the defense will try to let New Orleans try to beat them with different guys. McCollum should see plenty of assist opportunities, and this could be a 3rd quarter cash based on what we’ve seen from him before.
Zion and Ingram both have times they bring the ball up the court as point forwards, but now it is strictly the CJ show. McCollum is coming off of a 9-assist game, but even in that game, Zion had 15 potential assists that should now move over to just McCollum. The Spurs allow the most assists in the NBA and the 4th most to Point Guards.
This game does have blowout concern, but I truly think this one could cash through three quarters, and if it does stay close, I don’t see how it doesn’t hit. The -150 juice is never fun to drink, but we only pay for juice if we lose, so let's just decide to win this one! Sound good? I’m really confident in this one on this small slate. Let's ride!
