We bet this one the other night and it paid off, why not go again? Trae Young has already torched the Pistons twice this year. He has a double-double in one of the two games but has scored 35 and 36 points in those two games. The popular play would be to just take his o27.5 points but I have a feeling Detroit will be fed up allowing him to score 35+ again and will force him into passing situations.
Trae Young is third in the league in potential assists per game and is averaging 9.8 per game which is second. Tonight's matchup against Detroit is a good one as the Pistons allow the fifth most assists to point guards and Trae Young will obviously score 10 points for the double-double if he gets the assists.
The only concern here is blowout but Trae Young doesn’t have a game under 30 min all year so he should have plenty of opportunities to dish the ball for us. Young is coming off a poor passing night with just six assists but that was a tough matchup and this feels like a matchup where the defense will try to prevent him from scoring because he has already abused them twice this year, let's roll!
