Plumlee has a PTS line at 11.5 and a rebounds line at 10.5, but instead of taking an under on either of those, I see the best value in betting against him getting a double-double. OKC allows plenty of rebounds and quite a lot of points to centers, but Mason Plumlee is far from a consistent player and based on lineups that OKC plays, could play in our favor.
Mike Muscala will likely be starting for OKC and he’s a shooter who can pull Plumlee away from the basket for fewer rebound opportunities. OKC could also play small ball and Charlotte would run PJ Washington at the 5 and run Plumlee off the floor for matchups. Plumlee hasn't had a double-double in seven straight games and only has a double-double in 11/35 games. This bet has a 68.5% hit rate.
Plumlee could get a double-double and it wouldn’t be the craziest thing in the world, but potential foul trouble with SGA attacking the rim, lineups that take him off the court, and Muscala taking him from the basket all make me think this is a good find and worth the -130 juice.
