We’ll keep this one short. Bam has 22+ points in four of his last five games. He is on the second leg of a back-to-back but so are the Jazz who he is facing off against tonight. Jimmy Butler is out for Miami which should keep this game closer and open up more shots for Bam to hit this number for us.
Utah really struggles against Centers, they allow the second most points to big men in the league and Adebayo is one of the most gifted there are. Adebayo averages 22.5 points without Jimmy Butler this year and just 20.1 with him. So this line would be perfect if it was an average matchup but it’s the second-best in the league, this number should be 23.5 or 24.5 all day.
Blowout is a concern but Utah is desperate to get win #20 and have been struggling lately. I think they’re motivated to win this one and will do everything they can to keep this one close. Herro will also benefit from Jimmy being out but Utah surprisingly allows the ninth fewest points to shooting guards and the third-fewest 3PM at the position.
