Clippers vs. Mavericks Prediction

The Mavs come into play supporting a record of 23-18 on the season. The main reason for the Maverick's success is Slovenian-born superstar Luka Doncic. If the season ended today, Donic would have my vote for MVP, as he has been outstanding for the Mavs this season. This guy can simply do it all, and he is a matchup nightmare for teams night in and night out.

The key for Dallas to have success this year will be to get Doncic the appropriate help that he needs. Luka can do a lot but come playoffs, the Mavericks will need some of their role players to step up and get this team over the hump.

The Clippers, meanwhile, enter play with a record of 21-21. Do not that let that record fool you. This is a much better team than their record indicates. This is a team that will not finish .500, and I truly believe when healthy, they are the deepest team in the Western Conference. The issue for the Clips, however, has been their health. They have not been able to put out a fully healthy roster often this season. It seems like if Paul George is in, Kawhi Leonard is out, or vice versa. George is not expected to play tonight, but Leonard is listed as in for this contest. The Clippers will look to snap a six-game losing streak on their home floor tonight. 

I am all over the Clippers here tonight. I know a lot of people are not jumping out of their chairs to bet on a team that just lost six in a row, but here we are. This is the perfect get-right spot for a struggling team. The Clippers are not fully healthy, but they still have a very good roster that will play tonight. Kawhi Leonard has struggled a bit as of late, but I believe he will turn things around and help lead this Clippers team to a much-needed victory. Dallas has struggled to play on the road this season, going just 7-12 away from home. I think they fall to 7-13 tonight, and we cash in on the Clips.
