San Antonio Spurs vs. Golden State Warriors Prediction

This is an important game for the Warriors, as they have struggled mightily as of late. Golden State comes into play, losing three games in a row. This does not look like the team that just won a championship a season ago, and they will look to rebound tonight.

Golden State currently represents an overall record of just 20-21 on the season. They are certainly the best team in the NBA, with a record of under .500, and the team is optimistic that they will turn things around sooner than later.

Golden State has dealt with a lot of injuries, including star guard Stephen Curry who made his return on Tuesday night versus the Suns. Andrew Wiggins also returned for that game after missing some time with an injury. The Warriors lost that game at home by double digits after being a double-digit favorite.

The Spurs come into this contest with a record of 13-29. That is the second-worst record in the Western Conference and the fourth-worst record in basketball. This was to be expected as the Spurs are currently in a full rebuild. The Spurs have some solid young talent that they are optimistic about, and I would expect this Spurs team to begin being competitive again in a few years. The leader of this Spurs team has been Keldon Johnson, who is averaging 21.3 points per game this year. 

I am all over the Warriors in this spot. The fact that we see them struggling badly as of late, yet they are laying 7.5 on the road, makes me believe that this is a Warriors line all the way. Golden State will figure things out sooner than later, and this is the perfect get-right spot for them. The Warriors are on three nights of rest and are fully healthy for this game. San Antonio has struggled all season long, and I think that they are in a tough spot here, facing a highly motivated Golden State team. I will trust the Warriors to roll in this spot.
