Los Angeles Lakers vs Sacramento Kings Prediction

This is a significant game for the Lakers as they look to rip off some wins and get back into the playoff picture. After an extremely disappointing year last season, there were a lot of question marks surrounding the Lakers coming into the year. The biggest question of all was who was going to help Lebron James. What James is doing at the age of 38 is nothing short of amazing but the issue for the Lakers has been the supporting cast.

Los Angeles has played most of this season without fellow star Anthony Davis who has really set this team back. LA brings a record of 20-24 into play which is good for the thirteenth-best in the Western Conference.

Sacramento, meanwhile, is enjoying one of its best years in a long time. The Kings represent a record of 24-18, which is good for fourth in the West, and they feel that the sky is the limit for this team. De’Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis have both been outstanding this year and have been the reason for this team’s success. The role players for the Kings have also really stepped up and done a great job contributing on a daily basis.

The last time the Kings made the playoffs was all the way back in 2005. They will look to snap the longest drought in basketball by making the postseason this year.

I am saying off of a side in this game, but I will be backing a prop. I am looking at De’Aaron Fox over 34.5 points, rebounds, and assists. Fox has been the best offensive weapon on this team this season and facing a bad Lakers defense.

I expect him to have a lot of success tonight. Fox has put up some solid numbers versus the Lakers this season, going for 30+ in two of the three games against them. He also had nine assists in two of those three games. The volume should be there for Fox tonight, which will lead us to a win.
