The Golden State Warriors and Boston Celtics will duel things out from TD Garden on Thursday night for a prime-time contest in Boston, Massachusets.

This will be a finals rematch from a season ago, a series that the Golden State Warriors won. Boston will have revenge on their minds tonight and look to get a win at home. The Warriors won the first meeting between these two teams back on December 10th, 123-107. Let's get into my pick.

Celtics vs. Warriors Prediction

Boston enters this game representing the best record in basketball at 33-12. They have been clicking on all cylinders this season led by all-star Jayson Tatum. Tatum has taken his game to a different level this season, averaging 31.1 points per game to lead the Celtics.

The role players for Boston have really stepped up their play this season and they have been a pivotal part of the Celtic's success. Malcolm Brogdon has been on a roll as of late and is making a legitimate case to win the Sixth Man of the Year. Brogdon is averaging 14.1 points per game for the Celtics off the bench.

Golden State, meanwhile, has had a bit of a championship hangover. They have had to deal with a few injuries this season that have hurt them, but even when fully healthy, they have struggled to find their flow. The Warriors come into this game tonight playing to the tune of a 22-22 record. We all know the Warriors are better than a .500 team, but they will have to turn things on sooner than later to avoid being in a play-in spot. Golden State has really struggled away from home this year, going just 5-17 on the road.

I will be backing the dog tonight with the points. This is an important game for both of these teams, and I expect a playoff-like feel to this one. The Warriors are about as healthy as they have been all season long and I feel that they are being undervalued tonight.

This is still the Golden State Warriors, who just won a championship, and I believe people forget that. Boston has been outstanding all season long, and I have not faded them often, but in this spot tonight, this is far too many points to give Golden State.
