Dallas Mavericks vs. Miami Heat Prediction
Miami enters play representing an overall record of 25-21. That is good for the sixth-best record in the Eastern Conference. Miami has been playing their best basketball as of late as they have gotten healthier in the month of January. Jimmy Butler has been the star of this game team once again this season, leading them with his hard-nosed mentality, but the top performer on the court for the Heat has been big man Bam Adebayo.
Bam is having the best year of his career, averaging 21.5 points per game while shooting fifty-four percent from the floor. Bam also leads the teams in rebounds with 10.1 per game. Miami has gotten much better performances as of late from their role players, which is a key factor for this team.
Dallas, meanwhile, enters tonight’s game cold as of late. Dallas has lost three games in a row, including a home loss to the Hawks on Wednesday night. One guy that you can not blame is Luka Doncic, who is having an MVP-caliber season. Donic is averaging 33.7 points per game, 8.8 rebounds, and 8.8 assists.
I am backing the Mavs on the moneyline tonight. This is a Dallas line in my eyes all the way. The Mavs are without Christian Wood and Tim Hardaway Jr tonight, both of which are key players for the Mavs, but the fact that we see this line still at a pick ‘em suggests that this is a great bounce-back spot for Dallas.
Dallas will need some guys to step up and give Luka help tonight. Role players typically play better at home, and that is the case for this Mavs team. I believe that we will see their role players step up tonight and give Luka enough help to get this win. Let’s keep things rolling on the hardwood!
