Pacers vs. Jazz Prediction

Collin Sexton o4.5 Assists (-105) Bet $105 to collect $205. BetMGM has the best odds, click here to bet!

This bet is a popular one thus far but for a good reason. Sexton’s role on this team just increased with the removal of Mike Conley Jr. In 14 games without Conley Jr. this year, we saw Sexton average 4.9 assists per game, and he has hit this number in his last three games. Mike has 5+ assists in 9/14 of those games.

Sexton has already faced Indiana this year and racked up five assists in 28 minutes. Since Conley Jr. has been traded, we have seen Sexton play 30+ minutes in all three games. So barring foul trouble, the opportunity should certainly be there. Collin is averaging 13 potential assists in his last three games and we only need five assists. If he dishes at that same right, we need his teammates to make just 38% of their shots, not an insane ask.

This game has a close 1.5 spread and a nice high total that implies lots of points for both teams. The game script looks in favor of us, plus the hit rate is nice, the history against team is there, and it’s not the second leg of a back-to-back. This bet checks every box for me. Assist bets are strange, so I'm sticking with one unit, but I don’t see any angle that scares me. Let's roll!
