My initial lean here was Dinwiddie o3.5 Rebounds for plus money, and although I still like that, I prefer this bet here. Dinwiddie's assists are set at 5.5 and his rebounds are set at 3.5, so you would think the assists + rebounds prop would be set at 9.5. However, we get it at a little discount at 8.5.
Dinwiddie has a bigger role on his new team and looks energized playing back in Brooklyn. He faces a Knicks team who allows the most rebounds to point guards and are middle of the pack in terms of assists allowed. Dinwiddie has faced New York twice this year and has 11 and 18 REB + AST and all we need tonight are nine. In both games as a Net, he has cleared this number and should be in line to do it again.
This game has a close spread so we should likely see Dinwiddie play his typical 30+ minutes. Dinwiddie has gotten nine assists and nine rebounds against the Knicks alone and we just need to combine both stats for that number. This feels like a great bet and one that shouldn’t be overly popular heading into this massive Monday slate. Let's roll!
