2023 NBA All-Star Game Prediction

We are heading to Salt Lake City, Utah, for the All-Star Game, and I am fired up to watch the best in the game go at it tonight. The captains for this year's game are Giannis Antetokounmpo and Lebron James. Both of these teams are loaded with star power, but the job we have today is figuring out who will come out with the win.

The starters other than LeBron and Giannis are headlined by Kyrie Irving, Donovan Mitchell, Jayson Tatum, Luka Doncic, Ja Morant, Nikola Jokic, and Joel Embiid. It is important to note that Giannis may not play due to a wrist injury, so keep an eye on that. The All-Star Game format has also changed a bit. The first three quarters will be played as usual, but in the fourth, you will see a target score. Whatever team reaches that score first is the winner.

When I break down these rosters, I think that team Giannis has the best roster, and in an All-Star Game, how can we not take the points? I am going to back team Giannis +3 tonight. It is tough to judge how hard these players will go, but if we see any effort tonight, we will get a cover. It would be a huge bonus if Giannis does play, but if not this is still an All-Star Game, and I am sure someone will step up in his absence.

As far as the total is concerned, I would lean toward taking the over in an All-Star Game where nobody will play defense till the fourth quarter, but I am just going to take the side here. Let’s close the week with a bang, and I hope everyone enjoys the game!
