Philadelphia 76ers vs. Memphis Grizzlies Prediction

Memphis comes into this game playing to the tune of a 35-22 record. That is good for the second-best record in the West, and Memphis feels as if they have a championship-level roster. The roster is headlined by superstar Ja Morant. Morant, who was an All-Star this year, is having a career year averaging 27.3 points per game and 8.3 assists.

Fellow guard Desmond Bane is also producing the best year of his career, putting up 21.5 points per game. Memphis will have a tough path to the finals, as the Western Conference has gotten much better over the last few weeks. The Mavericks added Kyrie Irving and the Suns landed Kevin Durant, making them two of the new favorites to come out of the Western Conference.

Philly, meanwhile, turned in a great first half of the season, going 38-19. The 76ers are the No. 3 seed in the East, and they sit three games out of first place behind the Boston Celtics. Philly has been led by star Joel Embiid, who won a scoring title a season ago and is going to have an opportunity to win another one this year. Embiid is averaging 33.1 points per game and 10.2 rebounds per game. James Harden is also turning in a big-time season for the Sixers averaging 21.4 points per game and a league-high 10.8 assists per game. 

I am backing the 76ers on the moneyline tonight. Philly will have an advantage in the paint tonight and I believe that they will be too much offensively for the Grizz to keep pace in this game. The 76ers have played their best basketball on their home floor this season, going 23-8 at home, which is one of the best home records in basketball.

Despite being the number two seed in the West, Memphis has been horrific on the road this year, going just 11-17 on the road. I think that they continue their road woes tonight in one of the toughest atmospheres in the NBA. Let’s stay hot and cash in!
