Before people ask, I don’t have a pivot for this. Kyrie Irving doesn't look to pass when sharing the floor with Luka Doncic. He gets plenty of runs without Luka with how they do their substitutions but typically Luka plays the whole first quarter and Kyrie will be subbed after seven minutes or so and then he will start the second quarter filling in for Doncic.
In the two games that Kyrie and Luka have played together, we have not seen Kyrie get one first-quarter assist. Kyrie will usually ramp up his assist totals in the second and fourth quarters but in the first and third we just see Kyrie play off the ball and he lets Luka facilitate and do his thing.
Kyrie as a member of Brooklyn played this Spurs team and didn’t muster a single assist in 29 minutes. If he can get two as the non-primary ball handler in seven minutes after not being able to get a single one in 29 minutes then so be it. This is juicy but this prop should honestly be -200 so I see value here. Let's roll!
