This was the first bet of the day that stood out to me. CJ McCollum is a guy we don’t bet on often but when we do he typically whows out for us. I really like him tonight against a Toronto team I don’t normally take overs against. Toronto should have OG Anunoby back which is good news for us as he we will have his hands full with Brandon Ingram.
With Zion Williamson still sidelined, we have seen Ingram and McCollum taking on the two alpha roles in this offense. McCollum will likely see Fred VanVleet or Gary Trent Jr. on defense who he will have the advantage against either. McCollum has 21+ points in seven of his last nine games and he is in a great spot to make that an 80% hit rate in his last 10 after tonight.
McCollum has faced Toronto once as a Pelican last year and scored 24 points. This game has a fairly close spread of 6 points so I’m expecting CJ to play his typical 33+ minutes and have plenty of opportunities to bring us home here. This will more than likely be a late game sweat as McCollum doesn’t typically go for 30+ but that just makes this bet more fun. Let's roll!
