Bucks vs. Heat Prediction

The Miami Heat vs. the Milwaukee Bucks will duel things out tonight in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, for a prime-time affair. Miami comes into this game supporting a record of 32-27, which is good for seventh best in the Eastern Conference. Miami had a fairly disappointing first half of the season as this was slated to be one of the best teams in the East coming into the year. The star of this team has been Bam Adebayo, who earned himself an All-Star appearance this season.

Not only has Bam been extremely productive on the offensive side of things, but he has been one of the best rim protectors in basketball this year. Jimmy Butler is also doing what he normally does and remains the leader of this team. The issue for Miami has been the production of players not named Bam or Jimmy.

Milwaukee, meanwhile, looks like a legitimate contender once again to win a championship. Any time you have Giannis Antetokounmpo on your roster, you are going to have an opportunity to win; surround him with other great players you are going to have a chance to win multiple championships.

One of the other stars this year has been Jrue Holiday, who earned himself a trip to the All-Star game this year. Holiday has been known as one of the best defensive guards in basketball over the last few years, but he has continued to evolve on the offensive side of the ball. The Bucks come into this game tonight as a one-point favorite.

The reason that Milwaukee is such a short favorite is due to the fact that Giannis is out tonight. That will lead me to my favorite prop play on the board, and it will surround the man we just talked about, Jrue Holiday. I am taking Jrue Holiday over 20.5 points tonight, which is -120 on DraftKings. Holiday comes into this game averaging 19.4 points per game, but that is with Giannis on the floor. In seven games this season that Giannis has not played, Holiday is averaging 23.9 points per game. I expect him to be around that number again tonight and see much more volume from a shooting standpoint. Let’s cash this bet in!
