Chicago Bulls vs Brooklyn Nets Prediction
The Nets traded away superstars Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant but they added a lot of solid players in the act as well as NBA Draft capital. The moves initially came as a surprise to many as the Nets looked like a championship-caliber team when fully healthy, but for whatever reason, the Nets decided to move on and begin somewhat of a rebuild.
Brooklyn is currently the number five seed in the East, and they are hopeful that they can close their season strong. Spencer Dinwiddie and Mikal Bridges are two guys that the Nets added to their roster that will have expanded roles moving forward. It will be fun to see how the Nets handle the rest of the season.
Chicago, meanwhile, had a first half of the season to forget. Remember, Chicago turned in a great regular season last year, but this one has been rough so far. Despite the poor play, Chicago is just 2.5 games out of a play-in position, and they are confident that the tide will turn sooner than later. The star of this team has been DeMar DeRozan, who earned himself another All-Star appearance this year.Â
I am backing the Bulls tonight on the short moneyline. Who wants to back a team that has lost six games in a row? This guy! The Bulls are more than due to bounce back, and I believe that they will do that tonight at home, facing an average Brooklyn team.
