Jordan Poole is a great scorer. He’s in a bit of a slump right now but I have faith he gets back on track here tonight. Despite failing to score more than 16 points in his last three games, I like him tonight to at least score 24. Poole doesn’t routinely even hit this number but I’m betting this due to the matchup.
Poole has faced off against Portland twice and has scored 41 and 38 points in those two games. Poole seems to always turn up against the Blazers. We just need six points per quarter tonight. Portland has been getting torched by guards recently and Poole is due to an offensive explosion sooner rather than later.
This game projects to be close with a four-point spread and a total of 236 is an encouraging sign. Dame Lillard is fresh off of a 71-point performance, so I expect him to remain hot and keep Portland competitive in this game so our guy Poole can see plentiful minutes and help us cash here.
