Kawhi Leonard isn’t a guy we bet on often but he has typically done his job for us when we do bet on him. The fun guy is finally off of his minutes limit and seems to be close to his old self who was in conversations as one of the leagues best players. In Kawhi’s last three games, he is averaging 33 points per game.
That three-game span of 33 points per game is funny because Kawhi has played Golden State once this year and scored exactly 33 points. Tonight all we need is 25. Kawhi is averaging over 27 points per game in both January and February and I expect that to continue as the games matter this March. Kawhi is known to step up big in big games and these Clippers games mean much more now as they compete for a playoff birth.
Golden State will be without Andrew Wiggins which should play in our favor. We also love the close spread meaning Leonard should play 35+ minutes tonight. This number just feels low and I see some sportsbooks already hanging this number at 25.5. This is a late-night game but it’s worth staying up for as we see two of the NBA’s premier teams face off in a very meaningful game for both teams. In the Claw we trust, let’s roll!
