Detroit Pistons vs Charlotte Hornets Pick

The Hornets and Pistons both have nothing to play for. With that being said, Charlotte still seems to like playing their bigger names in large minutes as of now. The Pistons are a horrible team on defense and are prone to get beat by any position on the court. Although Killian Hayes is back, and he’s a defensive upgrade over Alec Burks or Rodney McGruder, I still like Scary Terry Rozier to do his thing.

Detroit Pistons vs Charlotte Hornets Prediction

Rozier has scored 22, 23, and 25 points against Detroit this year. Terry has shown that he will score more when LaMelo Ball is out. In comparison, we see Rozier score 22.8 points per game, which is a 2.5-point increase in games played with Ball. Rozier is a better road scorer, as he averages 0.6 more points on the road.

This game has a close spread of just three points, and Rozier should be in line to maintain his perfect hit rate against the Pistons. The hit rate, LaMelo being out, the close spread, and Detroit being prone to three-point shooting are all great signs that this bet has value. This prop should be 22.5 or 23.5, so getting it at 21.5 is value. Let's roll!
