It’s not often we bet on game results as opposed to props, but I really like this one here. Miami needs this game more, and they should play with urgency in this one. We all know how tough it is to beat a good team twice in a row, and Cleveland just beat Miami by four points in their last matchup. Miami should make adjustments and split the two-game series.
Darius Garland is a game-time decision tonight, and if he sits, I really like our chances here. Miami is 21-13 at home, and Cleveland is 14-19 on the road. The crowd should help us here, and they’ll be loud and supportive of their team as they try to head into the playoffs outside of the play-in tournament.
Miami is 3-7 in their last 10, so the public is on Cleveland tonight, but I always have preferred riding the bet with less money on it. This is a game that Cleveland would like to win, too, but they have a nice cushion right now of likely having home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs. Jimmy Butler has been vocal about how he turns up later in the year, and I expect this to be the case here. Let's hope the Miami boys come through for us, and let's roll!
