76ers vs. Wizards Prediction

1u - Joel Embiid 30+ PTS / Sixers ML (-125) (Bet $125 to collect $225) Get the best odds, available at DraftKings

I really like Embiid today but his main prop line of 33.5 just doesn’t give me enough value to take it straight up. I prefer only needing 30 points and banking on Philadelphia to win as heavy favorites. The Sixers enter this game as 7.5-point favorites and are playing at home where they are 25-10 on the season.

Embiid has faced Washington once this year and scored 48 points in a 5-point loss. However, that was without Tyrese Maxey. With Philly at full strength and now being at home, I don’t expect them to lose to Washington twice in a row. Embiid should cook them as he enters MVP conversations. Embiid has 30-plus points in five straight games and in 19 of his last 26.

Embiid at home averages 34 points per game and has already shown to be effective against Washington. The Wizards allow the eighth most points to Ccnters and Embiid is the best-scoring big man in the league. Philadelphia should be highly motivated to win this game as they are trying to make sure that they finish with a top-three seed in the East. Embiid has been crushing 30 as of late and Philly is a heavy favorite for a reason, let's roll!
