In fact, they rank No. one in the NBA in points per game. Head coach Mike Brown should win coach of the year as he has lifted this team up from the longest playoff drought in the NBA. De’Aaron Fox has also elevated his game to be in the discussion for a top-ten player this season.
Utah, meanwhile, got off to a strong start, but they have come back to life in the last couple of months. There was a short time when the Jazz actually held the No. 1 seed in the West, but at this point, they are fighting for a play-in spot. The star of this team has been Lauri Markkanen, who is having a career year that earned him his first all-star game appearance this season. Jordan Clarkson has also been a crucial part of this Jazz team from an offensive standpoint.
I will be taking a prop today and backing Walker Kessler over 10,5 rebounds -140. If you only have 11.5, I still like the number, but I am going to sip some juice and back Kessler at 10.5. Lauri Markkanen is out tonight, which means that the usage of Kessler will be even higher than normal. Kessler is an outstanding rebounder when Markkanen is on the floor, but tonight he gets even more opportunities than usual. The pace of this game should be high, which means a lot of shot attempts in this game. This should be a great position tonight. Let’s cash it in!
